Device

Three Types of Device -
(1) Input Device
(2) Output Device
(3) Storage Device

Input Device

 Ve Device jo computer mein data input karne ka kaam karte hai Input Device kahe jate hai.
Example -

  • Joystick
  • Trackball
  • Digital camera
  • Web camera
  • O.M.R (optical mark reader)
  • M.I.C.R (magnetic ink character reader)
  • B.C.R (bar code reader)
  • Remote
  • Scanner - yeh hard copy ko soft copy mein badalta hai.

Storage Device

 Ve Device jo data ko temparely ya parmanently store karta hai.

There are two types of storage device -
(1) Primary Storage Device
(2) Secondary Storage Device

Primary Storage Device

 Ve Device jo data ko temparely store karte hai Primary Storage Device hote hai .
Two Types of Primary storage device - (1) RAM (2) ROM

RAM (Random Access Memory)

Yeh ek primary memory hai . because input hone ke baad data sabse phele RAM mein hi store hota hai. RAM ko voletile memory kaha jaata hai kyunki RAM mein data tab tak safe reheta hai jab tak computer on hota hai. computer switch off hone ke baad RAM mein safe data automatic delete ho jaata hai .
CAPACITY - 64 MB , 128 MB , 256 MB , 512 MB , 1 GB , 2 GB , 3 GB , 4 GB , 8 GB , 16 GB , 32 GB .

ROM (Read Only Memory)

ROM mein store data ko user duara only pada ja sakta hai ROM mein store data ko user duara edit nahi kiya ja sakta , ROM mein BIOS naamak programe store hota hai .
BIOS - (Basic Input Output System)
yeh ek utility programe hai . jo computer mein store karne ke nirdesh deta hai.

ROM -

  1. PROM - programmable Read Only Memory
  2. EPROM - Erasable Read Only Memory
  3. EEPROM - Electrical Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory

Secondary Storage Device

 Ve Device jo data ko parmanent store karta hai Secondary Storage Device hota hai .

Floppy -

Yeh data ko store karne ka purana madhyam hai . Floppy Disk mein data ko parmanent store karke ek sthan se dusre sthan par aasani se le ja sakte hai .
Floppy ko surakshit ek Jacket Cover mein rakha jaata hai

Type of Floppy -
Mini Floppy -
  • size - 5.25 inch
  • capacity - 1.2 mb
Micro Floppy -
  • size - 3.25 inch
  • capacity - 1.94 mb

Hard Disk -

Yeh adhik matra mein data ko parmanent store karne mein use hota hai . hard disk mein audio , videos Data files etc store kiya jata hai . Hard disk mein data plates par store hota hai. Hard disk mein lagi plates 3600/5400/7200 RPM (Round per minute) ki dar se goomti hai .

CD (Compact Disk) -

friends ham sabhi CD ke baare mein adhitar jante hi hai.Yeh plastic ki bani hoti hai aur es par aluminium ka lep laga rehata hai .
CD - data floppy ki tarha Trace aur section ke roop mein store rehata hai , computer software , audio ,video files ko CD mein aasani se store kiya ja sakta hai .

DVD (Digital Video Disk) -

Yeh size tatha kaam mein CD ke saman hoti hai , par data store karne ki samta va taknik CD se adhik hoti hai . esliye isme CD se 7 guna adhik data store kiya ja sakta hai.
DVD - 4.7 MB

Output Device

 Veh Divice jo processing ke baad Result pradan karte hai output device hote hai.

(1) Hard copy Output device
(2)Soft copy Output device

Hard Copy Output Device

Printer -

Yeh ek Hard copy output device hai jo output ko paper par print karta hai.
Type of Printer -
  • Impact Printer - Ve printer jo hammer taknik par aadharit hote hai aur inki printer quality low hoti hai. printer ki quality ko DPPI (Dot Print Per Inch) mein maapa jata hai .
    Example - Desiwheel , Dot Matrix printer , Drum printer
  • Non Impact Printer - Veh printer jinka printing head kagaj ke sampark mein aaye bina printing ka kaam karte hai , yeh chalte samaye bahut kam aavazj karte hai aur printing quality high hoti hai . inki printing speed adhik hoti hai .
    Example - Laser printer , Insert printer , plotter printer

Soft Copy Output Device

Monitor -

Yeh ek Soft copy output device hai. jo output ko screen par show karta hai.

  • L.E.D - Light Emiting Display
